Hello my name is Aaliyah! I have been swimming for a little over 11 years and I can’t imagine my life without it. I feel the most at home in the water and even better while racing. Swim is such an amazing sport to me, it requires discipline and stamina, as well as determination! The school I attend is Notre Dame High School in Riverside, California. I couldn’t be prouder to swim for the green and gold! I was captain of the swim team my sophomore year and can’t wait for the upcoming season! Our team made it to CIF finals as a relay team (Divison 4) last year as well. One of my favorite swim quotes is “Just keep swimming!” from the movie Finding Nemo. As simple as it may sound, the quote inspires me to keep going on days that I feel like I can’t and reminds me to persevere and why I swim in the first place! Thank you for viewing my profile!
