I started swimming on a recreational swim team in 2007. Since then I had found a passion for swimming and I decided to join my high school swim team. My coach and this team opened my eyes to see that I could have a larger future in swimming, rather than just ending after high school, and I have become aspired to swim collegiately.
I am a very coachable athlete and I understand that swimming in college is a once in a lifetime experience. I push myself each and every practice and strive to be one of the most hard-working swimmers. My experience with many different coaches has made me a well-rounded swimmer with a good technique basis.
Inside that classroom, I work just as hard. I maintain a 4.0 and take honors classes, and plan on taking advanced placement classes. I am apart of Rio Americano Key Club, as well. I recently accepted a job to be a swimmer coach for a recreational swim team, helping younger swimmers establish a well-rounded knowledge of the sport. Fall of 2016, I also played water polo for my high school, and the 2017 season, I was asked to play on Varsity as a sophomore.
I want to attend a college after high school that will push me to be the best person I can be, inside and outside the pool. I am open to all college options and I strive to find the perfect match.
