Personal Statement
During the time I've been swimming, whether it be on a club team or my school team, one thing I've always noticed is the importance of treating your team like family. Swim is such an amazing sport because there are both individual and team events. For me, it's not just trying to be best athletically. It's working together with the teammates that you love to be better as a whole; which brings the bond that you share to an entirely new and deeper level.
I love swimming and couldn't imagine how different my life would have been if I hadn't have taken the leap into the deep end. In the end we are only as great as we strive to be, and I will always strive to be the best version of myself.
