Personal Statement
I have swam on a competitive team since I was 6 years old. Being close friends with my teammates throughout the years is something very important to me. My swim friends have become very important in my life and I want that to continue in college. I always try my best in both sports and school, always reaching for higher goals. Being goal-oriented has helped me get good grades and move towards accomplishing my goal times in swimming. Because of COVID-19 my team couldn't practice from mid-March to June. However, now we are back in the pool at an almost regular schedule building back up our strength and speed!
