Personal Statement

Hello, My name is Lili Neisser. I have been swimming since the age of 9.  I currently swim for Flatirons Athletic Club in Lafayette, CO. Swimming is something I love to do because it helps me grow physically, mentally, and as a leader. My goals are to become a supportive leader/mentor/role model towards others, both in the pool and out. Another goal of mine is to become a better all round swimmer so I can keep on improving and continue to be coachable. One of my swim goals is to make Jr. National times this season.  I know I have the character and attributes to help me to become a great leader, teammate, and champion by making the others around me better!

I also enjoy helping the community by  volunteering at various churches and organizations . Recently, I was inducted into the National Honor Society. Now I will be able to give even more back to my community including helping those less fortunate than me during Thanksgiving and other Holidays as well as by being a mentor for the younger swimmers on my swim team, especially my brother. I

Most recently, I have set up a fund, on behalf of my swim team, to help swimmers and their families who have been affected by the wildfires in Colorado. I have surpassed my initial goal in that quest and am humbled by the outpouring of support for my cause and these families.

Academically, I have been able to maintain a 4.0+ GPA and really enjoy learning. I strive to always do my best and to overcome any obstacles in my path. I persevere and always keep short term and long term goals in mind.

My college goals are to swim in a program where I can be an awesome team mate and and also be able to immerse myself into school culture to help better myself and everyone around me!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
