Thank you for viewing my profile!
I am currently a junior at the Kent Denver School in Englewood, Colorado. I have a passion for swimming, science and volunteering in the medical field.
I swim for Colorado Stars and Kent's varsity team. I have been swimming competitively for four years, with this year being my fifth. I specialize in freestyle and just started swimming distance events last year. What I would like you to know about me as a swimmer is that I am an incredibly hard worker and always up for any challenge. I have found distance swimming particularly gratifying since I am able to see a direct correlation between my hard work and improved times. I can't wait to update you on my distance times this season!
I would like to study pre-med in college, majoring in biology or biochemistry, to prepare for medical school. I have been fortunate to have some amazing opportunities to volunteer in the medical field as a Junior Volunteer Leader at Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital where I currently work 4 hours per week in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I am taking extra science classes, Anatomy and Infectious Diseases, as my electives this year which I am so excited about!
Please feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions. I look forward to talking with you and learning more about your college and swim program.
