My name is Kendyll Wilkinson and I live in Grand Junction, Colorado. I am a 2024 graduate and attend Fruita Monument High School. Swimming has been a part of my life since I was 8 years old. I swim club year-round and also swim for the highschool team during the winter season. I have always had a desire to swim in college. Swimming in college will continue to challenge me as a swimmer and work towards becoming a better athlete and pushing myself to be the best that I can be. After achieving a best time in a race, it helps me appreciate all the hard work and know all the training is worth the sacrifice. The reward is so much more that any moment of disappointment, pain or discomfort
I have been balancing my extracurriculars and academics all of my schooling. I have a 4.0 weighted GPA and have been on the honor roll since 6th grade. Throughout high school I have taken honors and Advanced Placement(AP) classes and have been successful. I have also joined the National Honors Society this year. Joining the NHS has been rewarding because I want to help out in my community through service.
