Personal Statement

I have always loved the water. Even though I have tried other sports, nothing has captured my heart like swimming!

I am hard-working both in the pool and in my studies, but I try to bring some fun and light-hearted perspective to both. Swim has taught me the importance of consistent effort, setting challenging goals, pushing through adversity, and influencing those around me with a positive attitude. And even though I’m in the class of 2026, I am a year younger than my grade, which should allow me a longer continuation of my consistent upward progression.

I am honored to train in the National Group at Highlands Ranch Aquatics, which is currently ranked 46th in the US and 4th in Colorado by Swimcloud, and to represent Valor Christian High School on the Varsity Team.

When I’m not swimming or studying, I’m spending time with my friends and family, baking, volunteering at Gracefull Café, going to my high school football games, or just relaxing with a Netflix show.
