Personal Statement
I have been competitively swimming since 1st grade. Swimming to me is more than a form of exercise, it’s a family. On good days and bad, swimming is there to push me to better myself in everything I do. It motivates me and plays a significant role in my life. Swimming in college has been a dream of mine for years and now i’m determined to turn that dream into a reality. I’m a hard worker and dedicated student. I take high level courses and get good grades in them. I teach little kids to swim because it is an important skill to have even if they don’t go on to swim competitively. I’m a dedicated swimmer, a good student, and a good person.
