Hi! I am Selena Nicor-Pereira, a swimmer from Oldsmar, Florida. Swimming has been more than just a sport to me; it has changed me, not just as an athlete but as a person. It's been a journey filled with highs and lows, teaching me resilience, discipline, and the importance of teamwork. I've always pushed myself to strive for more, seeking improvement and growth. Along with my passion for swim, I also love to stay involved with my community and culture, reflecting on my dream of pursuing a career in medicine. Additionally, my passion for staying connected with my community extends to cultural dancing, where I have immersed myself in the rich traditions of my heritage. Engaging in cultural dances not only allows me to express myself artistically but also strengthens my sense of identity and belonging. As I anticipate the next chapter of my swimming career, I'm excited about the opportunity of joining a collegiate program where I can continue to pursue my athletic and academic goals. I'm eager to contribute my skills, dedication, and positive mindset to a team that shares a common passion for greatness and unity.
