Morgan Nguyen '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Morgan Nguyen and I am a rising senior at Hillgrove High School.  I swim for Hillgrove's swim and dive team and will be a captain for our 2022-2023 season. I have been swimming competitively since my early years of middle school and have fallen in love with the sport and gained a passion to produce growth and strength through all I do, while relaying that to my team. During my junior season of competing with Hillgrove, I attended the GHSA state championship alongside my relay gaining my personal record for my 50 free. While attending county and state this past year, it showed me that being a swim athlete does not only take work and time, but a mindset of capability and the power each person holds. While changing my mindset I have already seen growth within my work, and can't wait to show that through competing. My passion for swimming is great, and plan to continue through college while majoring in Psychology.
