Katie Mitchell '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming since I was seven and it continues plays a huge role in my life today--I could not image my life without it.  I was always determined to keep with it, and I think that determination is what helps me today to keep pushing through the hard parts because I know the good parts are yet to come. Over the years, I have learned that hard work really does pay off in the end.  You need to focus on yourself individually,  but also know how important it is to be a good teammate and how successful a positive team environment can be.  I'm looking to join a team where I can contribute quickly and be part of a great team atmosphere. I am a hard worker, dedicated to the sport, I embrace the competition, and am always looking improve.
