Hi coaches, my name is Olivia Sholl and I have been swimming competitively since the age of 10. I attend Rock Island High School, where I swim at the varsity level, and swim club with Davenport Metro.
In my college search, academics are my number one priority. Some of my high school academic achievements include being included in my school’s “gold” honor roll every semester of high school, being a part of National Honors Society, and being Top 10 in my class my freshman through junior years. I am hoping that in college, I can find a place where I am challenged as a student and can keep my academic success going.
In and out of the pool, I feel like a standout characteristic I have is my positive attitude. I always try to use this to make a positive impact, whether it’s someone needing a pep talk or just an environment that needs more spirit, I am always ready to bring that. Alongside my positive attitude, I always put the most effort I can give into everything I do. I have a lot of drive, focus, and determination, and am always using it to help me succeed.
My academic plans for college are to major in forensic science or biology. On a team, I am looking for somewhere with a fun and competitive environment, as well as one that is filled with team spirit.
