Jovie Mowrey '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Jovie Mowrey and I am a Junior at Franklin Community High School. I have been swimming for as long as I can remember and I want to continue swimming for as long as possible. One of my most prominent goals is to continue learning and growing as a swimmer and as a person. I think I am a good candidate for a colligate team. I have been told I lead by example well, I am coachable, and I am  open to criticism. I get along with everyone well, and I also enjoy helping others achieve their goals. As far as academics, I maintain over a 4.0 and get straight A's in honors classes, while also swimming over 20 hours a week. Most importantly, I love swimming. Most people swim because of the camaraderie, or to stay in shape, but I really enjoy all of aspects of it: the competition, the team, the intensity, the pain, and much more. I believe I can be a good fit on any team and I hope to continue my swimming career to the next level.
