Personal Statement
My name is Valentina, and I'm delighted to have the opportunity to introduce myself. I hail from the beautiful country of Colombia, and at 17 years old, I've dedicated a significant portion of my life to swimming. Maintaining a positive attitude has always been a cornerstone of my approach, whether it's tackling academics, practicing in the pool, or competing on the big stage. I take pride in being sociable, a quality that I believe greatly enhances my ability to work with others towards common objectives. I've always found it easy to connect with new people, and I believe that this quality can be an asset in various team settings. These are just a few of the things that define me, and I hope to bring my enthusiasm, teamwork, and dedication to any collegiate community I become a part of.
