We at GAF are passionate to enable swimmers from India to achieve podium finishes at the Olympics and other International and National swimming meets. GAF is a not-for-profit CSR initiative of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited dedicated to promote competitive swimming in India. GAF's vision is to enable Indian swimmers achieve podium finishes in International competitions. Aquatic Sport has the maximum number of finals in the Olympic Games. To become a global sporting power it is imperative to succeed in the sport of swimming. GAF intends to achieve its objectives by transforming the ecosystem of the sport in India. GAF was established in 2015. GAF has taken a three-pronged approach to transform the ecosystem of swimming in India. 1. Centres of excellence to offer swimmers with the best facilities to excel. Top quality coaching coupled with excellent pool and dry land infrastructure is a hallmark of each centre. International experienced technical director designs and oversees programmes for all centres. GAF sponsors top swimmers for International meets. 2. Partnership with the Swimming Federation of India to bring sustained positive changes to the sport. GAF is the title sponsor for the Sub Junior, Junior and Senior National Aquatic Championships with an aim to enhance the experience of all the stakeholders. 3. Coach Education program to aid swim coaches across India to improve their skills and learn best global practices. GAF believes that knowledge sharing and collaboration generates a strong multiplier effect.
