August 2013Personal Statement
I've been in competitive swimming since the age of 9 and I love it! I swim in the Performance Squad of Carnegie Swimming Club under head Performance Coach John Szaranek. I have recently competed at the ASA British Youth Championships and placed 4th and 7th respectively in my 200 and 100 back. In my 200 back I also broke the Scottish Age Group record twice and qualified for Scottish Senior Gold Squad. I am looking for a University Swim team with fantastic team spirit and a challenging program.
Academics are very important to me, I have just received my Scottish Higher results and achieved 5 A grade passes which I am very proud of as I had a very demanding swim program. I also received all top Grades in my Standard grades. (My qualifications certificate can be viewed in Academics section). I am currently a Senior Prefect in 6th Year. I am looking to study Business for my degree.
My current goal is to try to achieve the qualifying time in my 200 back to swim for Scotland in the Commonwealth Games in 2014. To swim in front of a home crowd in Glasgow would be amazing. My contact number is 0044 1383 820292. Skpe chelsealawson_
