Personal Statement
I have been drawn to the pool since the age of three, and just a year later, I began swimming competitively, setting my first record in the 25m butterfly and igniting a passion for the sport. Being born in Saudi Arabia, I have enthusiastically contributed to the development of girl’s swimming, competing in local swim leagues and national federation championships. Along the way, I consistently ranked highly within the kingdom and gained international recognition at Middle Eastern and European junior open meets. Recently, I proudly represented Team Saudi at the ISF Gymnasiade in Bahrain. Additionally, with my French nationality, I am licensed with a French club team, where I achieved top regional rankings within my category.
As I continue to pursue my ambitions of becoming faster and stronger, I focus on excelling in versatile swim events. While I specialize in IM and middle-distance events, I am also highly competitive in sprint events. My academic journey has cultivated a deep interest in the scientific and medical fields, complemented by advanced studies in computing and mechanics. Outside of the pool and classroom, I am a passionate photographer and enjoy learning new languages, enriching my perspective both as an athlete and an individual.
With my athletic values such as my competitive spirit, resilience, leadership, dedication, and team spirit, I am confident that I would bring added value to your team as we strive toward the goal of becoming NCAA winners. On the international stage, my ambition is to compete at the highest levels, including representing my nation at the LA28 Olympics.
