Isabella Del Valle '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Isabella, I’m 15 years old, and I’m a competitive swimmer from Puebla, Mexico. I’ve been swimming since I was six, but for the past three years, I’ve trained with more competitive teams to push myself further and take my swimming to the next level. My dream is to compete for a Division I college program in the United States — and I’m fully committed to putting in the work to make that happen.

Right now, I compete at a Division II level, but I’m aiming higher. I’m not just chasing faster times — I’m building the mindset, discipline, and resilience it takes to grow as an athlete and teammate. I train consistently, stay focused, and take every opportunity to improve, not just for myself, but also to contribute to the team's success.

Academically, I maintain a 3.7 GPA, and I’m especially interested in studying nutrition, health, or something in the medical field. I believe that combining my passion for sport with a career in health will allow me to stay connected to the values I’ve learned through swimming — dedication, balance, and the power of physical well-being.

Even though I’m still young, I know that the earlier I start preparing for college opportunities, the better. I’m actively researching universities and scholarships, looking for a place where I can keep growing in and out of the water, and represent a program that values hard work, leadership, and character.
