Personal Statement
Hi I'm Delaney! Swimming collegiately has been a goal of mine for years now, I hope to be able to bring positivity and encouragement to the enviorment I am emmersed in, help to promote comratory in and out of the pool and of course work hard to continue to get faster. Going to conference meets as well as the NCAA Chapionships has always been a goal of mine while looking to swim in the US for college. I have been apart of the Bahamas National Swim Team for 4 years and recently was one of four captains to lead Team Bahamas to a 4-peat victory at CARIFTA (one of our Caribbean championship meets). In school, I have been at a international school that follows the IB programme for the past 8 years and have had many great experinces and opportunities from that. I love the enviorment, marine biology and ecology, however I am still not sure of what I want to study in the future.
