My name is Kyana Higgs and I have been competitively swimming for the past 8 years.
I live in the Bahamas and was selected to represent my country at the 2022 CARIFTA championships where I made individual finals in 5 events and I was also selected for the 2023 CARIFTA championships where I competed in 6 individual events and made 5 finals with 4 personal best swims.
I consider myself an all-around swimmer but have excelled in backstroke, 400 IM and 200 butterfly.
I have a very competitive nature and always excel to be the best that I can be and look for that one-on-one relationship with my coaches to guide and continue to develop.
I have always wanted to swim competitively at a collegiate level and while I am still deciding on a major for college, I continue to focus on my academics.
While I live in the Bahamas, I am a US citizen for enrollment purposes.
