Personal Statement
My name is Valentina and I'm in my third year of high school. In Italy I am in the 13th year of school (5 years of elementary school, 3 years of middle school and 3 years of high school). Swimming has become a big part of my life and this is why I want to study in college. At the moment I live in Rome and I train at the Circolo Aniene together with Simona Quadarella, Margherita Panziera and my Coach is Gianluca Belfiore. Having the opportunity to combine my studies and invest in my sport is great and studying abroad has always appealed to me. I want to continue my self-development through more experiences and challenges, experience student life, live on campus and develop as a person. So having the opportunity to train and compete in a new country is a blessing and I look forward to starting my journey with new challenges and seeing how good I can really be as a collegiate swimmer.
