Personal Statement
My name is Cecilia Viberg and I started swimming when I was nine years old. When I was young, I tried a lot of different sports e.g. team gym, tennis and volleyball, but fell in love with swimming. At the age of twelve, I started to compete in swimming. I was not super talented at a young age, but improved steadily. Now I have reached a high level but still continue to improve in all strokes.
My primary stroke is breaststroke and I am a sprinter. Hence I have been successful in all strokes when it comes to sprint. Except for swimming, I am also very good in school and always work hard to keep my high grades. I am a very disciplined and structured athlete which makes me stand out from other athletes striving for excellent performance in the water and at the school. Swimming has helped me to always push myself, working hard every day and always makes me set new higher goals.
I love to race relays with my teammates and always push my friends to become the best versions of themselves. It is important for me to show happiness and be a positive role model to my teammates, so I can help them succeed as well.
Right now I am training very hard and I see improvements in the water everyday. I love to push myself to become the most successful athlete possible.
