Personal Statement
I hope to reach the World Swimming Championships and even the Olympic standards in college, while continuing to develop my strengths and become a top athlete. During training, I will not surface immediately after turning. I will require myself to do a few underwater butterfly kicks before surfacing. Maybe my strength is not that great, and my height may not be that high, but I hope to use my technique to make up for my congenital deficiencies, so my movements are better than those of my peers. In addition to my swimming achievements, I was also selected for the National Talent Development Program, which is a prestigious program that identifies and supports talented students in a variety of fields. This program provides me with access to resources and support that will help me achieve my goals. I am confident that this program will help me become a better swimmer and a better student. In terms of homework, I also require myself to maintain a certain level. I listen carefully in class, so that I have more time after class to do what I want to do, instead of being used to make up homework. Even in subjects that I am not good at, such as math or physics, maybe the class tests are not always ideal, but I did not give up because of this. I still try to understand the things I don't understand, so my exam scores are not too low. At the same time, while my classmates are playing or playing games, I will use them to read, review, and enrich myself.
I think these are all the differences between me and other recruits.
