Personal Statement

  • I want to attend university in the United States because I want to push myself and experience opportunities that I would not be able to have in New Zealand. I am an organised and dedicated person. I always turn up to training aiming to get the most out of every opportunity and set. In classes, I try to extend myself and I love understanding topics and theories to the best of my ability. Even when trainings are tough I look for positivity, if I see a teammate looking down, cheering them up or encouraging them is a big part of the sport for me. I want to attend a university that will push me to be a better person/athlete, and provide me with opportunities that I will love and remember.
