Personal Statement
Swimming has been a huge part of my life since I was a little kid. Through my years of being on a swim team, I've learned discipline, perseverance, and the importance of teamwork. I have a strong dedication to my team as well as a drive to constantly improve. I bring a positive attitude and leadership to every practice. Swimming in college would not only allow me to continue pursuing my passion but also provide me with a supportive community and the opportunity to push my limits both in and out of the pool. Because I plan on going into either interior design or architecture, having the skill of working with a team to achieve a specific goal will benefit me in the future.
