I began swimming at a young age because of my love of the water, and I have absolutely loved the sport ever since. Swimming has fueled my competitive spirit, and it has taught me to work hard to accomplish my goals. I did not start fully committing my time to competitve swim until my first full high school season, which was sophomore year. Since then, I have found my strengths in backstroke events. I am swimming competively during the fall and winter seasons in hopes to make my times as competitive as possible, and I plan to explore distance freestyle events. My academic goals include attending a four year college, and to major in a biomedical engineering related field.
