Hello, My name is Jayla Compton and I am a Sophomore at Liberty High School. I began swimming in sixth grade for my middle school team and I enjoyed the sport so much that I couldn't stop. I continued to swim for my high school team as well as my club team which is Tiger Aquatics. My goal is to continue to improve as a swimmer and student so that I can be prepared for college. I hope to pursue a career in engineering and swimming for my college future. Right now I am taking Dual enrollment engineering classes for LSU so that I will have the class credits before I get to college. Once I get to college I would like to study petroleum engineering or civil engineering. I am a hard worker and a great learner. I'm always open to learning new techniques that would help me improve in anything I'm doing. My overall goal is to keep bettering myself so that I may reach my full potential as a student-athlete.
