Charlotte Boehm '25 Recruiting Profile

I am Charlotte Boehm and I am a senior at Livonia Stevenson High School.  I have been swimming competitively since I was 8 years old. As a freshman, I earned my varsity letter by achieving competitive times during the season.  This fall, I was named captain of the Varsity Swim Team.  I set a goal this year to achieve MISCA cuts for my main events (200IM and 100Fly) and I achieved them!

In addition to high school swimming, I have been swimming year round for the Livonia Community Swim Club for 8 years.  I am currently a senior level swimmer with the club. At the March 2023 15/Over Ultra State Championships, my 200 Medley Relay achieved a state cut time for 2023 Summer Long Course and 2024 Spring Short Course Meets. My current goal is to achieve more state cuts in the other events that I compete.  

I have also competed as an artistic (synchronized) swimmer with the Michigan Sharkettes since I was 8 years old.  I have qualified for US Junior Olympic Championships, as well as State Games of Michigan.  I have been invited to national talent camp at the USOC Training Center in Colorado and a rising star invite camp in San Antonio, Texas.  Synchronized swimming has enhanced my competitive swimming career with breath control, endurance training and muscle development.  I am currently the State of Michigan Athlete Representative for United States Artistic Swimming (formerly USA Synchro).

Out of the pool, I excel in the classroom and have earned a 4.1 grade point average with accelerated and advanced level classes.  I am also a member of the National Honor Society, the SHS Girl Up Club, and Early Literacy Volunteer Program for elementary students.  I am a lifeguard and swim instructor for Fairway Farms Swim and Tennis Club.
