Hannah Tatge '20 Recruiting Profile

    I started swimming competitilvely when I was six years old.  My passion for the sport has been continuously growing ever since.   Being pulled up to swim varsity as an eighth grader has been one of the highlights of my swimming career so far. However, I feel I have grown the most as an athlete by learning not to depend on others for my success.   I have to focus in on myself in order to get the results that I want.  One of my favorite things about swimming is the relationships I have made with both my teammates and coaches.  They have pushed me to be where I am today.  I want to continue swimming in college push myself even further as an athlete and in academics . I love meeting new people and building new relationships. With that, some qualities I would bring to a team is a hard work ethic,  positivity,  laughter,  and the ability to be a strong leader.  

    As much as I enjoy swimming, academics are also a strong focus for me.  I truly believe that the challenges in the pool have taught me self discipline,  and  helped me both academically and athletically.
