Throughout my journey with the sport of swimming, I have learned a lot about perseverance, the importance of being a good teammate and the power of the team, how to manage my time, and how to work hard. I won the hardest worker award my freshman year on the High School swim team and team MVP my sophomore year. Swimming has been a huge part of my life as I have been swimming competitively since 2011. This sport has impacted my life in so many ways and really influenced who I am today. My family, especially my parents, are also a big influence in my life and a huge source of support and encouragement. It is important to me to find a school that will challenge me both academically and athletically. I am interested in studying medicine.
