I have been competitively swimming since I was seven years old. I have been swimming with the Sea Devils Swim Club throughout my whole swim career. I have also swam on the Elk River varsity team for the past five years.
During my fifth year on the Elk River team, I had the privilege of being a team captain and I received an All-Conference Honorable Mention. I have also been voted hardest worker two years in a row by my teammates.
I am currently on the Sea Devils' National Team. I am also a junior coach for the Sea Devils and the team's Club Athlete Ambassador.
Both my club and high school coaches have told me that I am very coachable and a great teammate.
Although I am currently a junior in high school, I am taking both online and on-campus college courses at a local 4-year university. I plan on continuing to take college courses during my senior year of high school.
I have recently introduced weight lifting into my training and have been working hard to improve my strength. This and my hard work in the pool has paid off and I have seen time drops, but I am still pushing myself to get better.
I am excited to see where my next swim adventure takes me and what wonderful team I can possibly become a part of.
