Rebecca Femrite '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Becca Femrite and I swim for the Minnewaska Morris Gators in Glenwood, MN. I have been competitively swimming for 5 years, and I primarily swim mid-distance and relays. My goal after high school is to continue swimming at a college that will allow me to pursue my career goals. It has been my dream since the beginning of my swimming career to be a collegiate swimmer, and I know that is achievable. Being a student-athlete has taught me how to work for my goals, but it has also taught me to prioritize. One of my greatest characteristics is my passion for anything I do. I strive to be my best self, in and out of the pool. Being on your team would allow me to succeed as a swimmer on a team where I can be a hard worker, a leader, and an encouraging teammate. I thrive when I am able to continue to learn and grow in swimming as well as academically. 

Within the past 5 years on the Gator's swim team, 4 of which I have been on varsity, I have achieved many of the goals I have continuously set for myself. This past year, I have been a part of our school record-breaking relay, a state participant in that same relay, and a top 3-point scorer on my team. One of my personal strengths is being a motivator for not only myself but my teammates. It is important to me to create a positive team environment for everybody to do their best. A main goal I set for myself every day when I wake up is to get up and have a positive attitude and have a smile on my face.  

I am excited to further my swimming career and find a college that fits.
