I have been swimming for as long as I can remember. I can’t begin to imagine what my life would be without it and would love the opportunity to continue my athletic career at the colligate level.
I have a very strong work ethic, and I am extremely dedicated to swimming. I am a team leader, in leading by example and creating a positive team atmosphere. I have received awards such as the “Jenny Sandhal Award” (Most team Spirit) twice, Most Dedicated, and Most Improved at the high school level. I was also voted Captain for my senior season, not only in swimming but also in dance and synchronized swimming. In the off-season, I participate in club swimming with the Piranhas located in Minneapolis, MN. I also compete in dance and synchronized swimming at the high school level, where I have also received the awards; Most Dedicated, Most Improved, Rookie of the Year, and Most Team Spirit. I also placed 2nd at state in my first year of synchronized swimming and was also selected to the Tri-Metro All-Confrence Dance team in the 2022-23 season.
I have learned to manage my academics with athletics while maintaining honor roll status throughout my high school career. I believe that my high school has done an outstanding job of preparing me for the challenge of balancing college academics and athletics.
