I started taking swim lessons when I was 10yrs-old, I loved swimming and I found swim to be my favorite sport. I never really thought about joining a club until my mom put me in Desert Storm, in which I only lasted 1 week because I did not want to go. When I got into middle school I did the aquatics swim teams and that was my way to stay condition. When i was a freshman in high school I joined soccer, Flag-football and swim. I then noticed that team sports were not my type and i was more of a individual sport player. I went to regionals freshman year and I stuck with swim. As a right now i am a junior in high school and this is my third year in Eldorado's swim team, My third year going to regionals. I am the captain of Eldorado's swim team. One of my goals is to be on the Olympics and be the first Mexican woman to be a distance swimmer. As a right now there is only one Mexican swimmer his name is Ignacio Gutierrez. I want to attend women's swim in college and get a scholarship.
