Claire Harmon '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Claire Harmon, and I am currently a Senior at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School, and will graduate in June 2022. I have been swimming since I was three years old and started competing at the age of eight. Swimming grounds me, gives me structure and discipline, and provides a platform for me to express myself both in the water and as a part of a team. Although I consider myself an introvert, you would not know it when you see me standing on the deck cheering for my team or when you see me in the water coaching five- and six-year-olds. I bring maturity, discipline, and perseverance both in my academics as well as in the pool. With regards to career goals, I am split between my desire to help people overcome obstacles and physical impairments and my passion for marine life. With my strong faith, my determination, and my sense of humor, I know that I will achieve anything that I put my mind to. Not only do I feel that I will excel academically, I am certain that I will be a strong asset to your swim team.
