My name is Lindsey. At the age of 6 years old I was influenced by my family to join a club swim team, Oyster River Otters. I have always had a love for swimming and in the summer months as a little girl I would spend everyday swimming in my pool and playing mermaids with my best friends. Over time, my love for competitive swimming grew. I made so many new friends and even got opportunities to participate in a UNH swim camp, and qualify in a yearly Regional swim meet in Vermont. Flash forward to my freshman year, I am now joining the Varsity High School swim team at Exeter High School in Exeter, NH. On average, I am apart of around 5-7 swim meets every year. I also swim every year at the TSSA Championship hosted at the UNH indoor pool in Durham, NH. In the academic world, I have a 3.8 GPA and am apart of Student Government as I was voted to be a Senator in my full 4 years of High School. For Athletics, I also am apart of the Volleyball Team in the fall at Exeter and love having team bonding with my friends. In conclusion, continuing swimming for my High School and hopefully getting a scholarship at a D1 or D2 school is my goal and to achieve or surpass satisfaction in my times for the races I am best at.
