Billie Sherratt '24 Recruiting Profile

I make a good candidate for the sport of swimming because I love and embrace the hard work that goes into every accomplishment. I have determination and a large work ethic that can get me through tough practices, mental obstacles and more. In addition, I respect and enjoy supporting my teammates by cheering them on or giving them pep talks whenever I get the chance. For example, this past YMCA Nationals, my relay team was feeling tired and nervous to race. By motivating them and receiving motivation in return, we then proceeded to hit our time goal and break our team's record. With my strong time management skills, I am able to balance my academic and athletic careers despite having a busy schedule. I am always willing to work hard, push myself and work towards my goals.
