Vanessa Cefaloni '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches!

My name is Vanessa Cefaloni. I am from Highland Lakes, Vernon New Jersey. I started swimming when I was 9 years old and I immediately fell in love with the sport and joined a club team. I knew that this sport was meant for me because it is a sport that made me happy. It has really taught me how to become a stronger person and has given me many valuable life lessons.  Swimming was always there for me when I was going through tough times, it was always a gateway to help me get through them.  I appreciate the fact that swimming is a sport that I can do for the rest if my life. 

Being on the swim team gives me the opportunity to not only better myself but to cheer on my fellow team mates too. I am excited for them when they drop time in their events and when they don't do as well as they expect, I do my best to motivate them to keep their spirts high.  

My love for supporting others carries into my other high school activities. I am in Key Club, Anti Bullying Club and Unified Club. These clubs give me the opportunity to help my peers with special needs and people in need in my community and surrounding communities. All of these clubs have helped me select my future career in Nursing.
