To all NCSA College Coaches:
I am a senior at Pearl River High School in New York and a captain of the Pearl River Varsity swim team. I am excited to begin my college search for Fall 2019. I have been swimming on the varsity team since 9th grade and began Club swimming (Phoenix Aquatic Club) in December of 2016. I enjoy my Club swimming as it has really improved my form, conditioning and performance, but I especially enjoy the team spirit at the High School practices and meets and the role that I get to play in that environment. Though I have only been swimming Club for a bit over a year, I have made steady progress and continue to improve my form and results.
I am looking for a good match with a college that has an academic program and demographic that fit for me and a swim program that stresses team cohesion, a positive atmosphere and respect for academics. I know it is important that I bring something as well. For my part, I can contribute to team spirit, provide strong support for my teammates and leadership in the form of hard work, academic excellence and a very positive approach. I have been extremely fortunate to be part of teams that I really love, as a competitive gymnast (earlier in my career), as a lacrosse player and as a swimmer. I am really looking forward to being part of something very special in college as well.
