Swimming has been my passion since I first stepped into a pool at the age of seven. The thrill of racing through the water, perfecting my technique, and pushing my limits has shaped my life both in and out of the pool. My favorite event, the 100 breaststroke, challenges me to combine power with precision, while the 200 IM pushes me to be versatile and resilient in every stroke.
I have dedicated myself to swimming year-round, training 12–15 hours each week with a focus on continuous improvement. My commitment is evident in my consistent attendance at practice and my determination to push through even the most challenging workouts. Competing for Sylvania Southview High School and Sylvania Tsunami Swim Club has not only honed my competitive edge but also instilled in me the values of teamwork and leadership. Being named Female Rookie of the Year during my freshman year and later serving as team captain—along with being recognized as the Most Valuable Swimmer in my junior year—are milestones that underscore my growth as both an athlete and a leader.
Outside the pool, I channel my creativity and precision into my academic pursuits. I am excited about the possibility of majoring in interior design or interior architecture—fields that blend creativity with structural clarity, much like the discipline required in competitive swimming. Balancing a rigorous training schedule with academic responsibilities has taught me exceptional time management and resilience, skills I know will help me thrive both in college and in my future career.
I am eager to continue my swimming career at the collegiate level, where I plan to bring my strong work ethic, leadership skills, and infectious passion to your team. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to a program that values excellence both in the pool and in academic pursuits, and I am confident that my dedication and enthusiasm will make a positive impact on the team.
I am ready to take the next step in my career and excited about the chance to excel as both a student and an athlete in college.
