Emily Stewart '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, I am Emily Jo Stewart, a junior in high school at Edison with high hopes for what comes next. I have a 3.7-3.8 gpa and scored a 22 on my ACT. Swimming is a huge aspect in my life. I started a summer league when I was about 10 in my local town and decided to take it more seriously and got into high school being a swimmer. My favorite stroke to swim is the breaststroke, with a pr of a 1:30. On the other hand, the butterfly is where my main focus is. I’ve been swimming the butterfly in the 200 medley relay for two years now with a pr of a 33, and decided at sectionals I should try the 100. My first time doing it I finished with a 1:22, only 7 seconds away from our school record. I am also 7 seconds away from the 100 freestyle record which is a 1:02 and I’m currently at a 1:09. I hope to hear from some of you. :)
