Hello my name is Karissa Caldwell and I am graduating high school in 2024. I have been swimming for 9 years now on local club teams called the Marietta Marlins for 8 yesrs snd Parkersburg Sharks for 1 year, which are both also part of the USA West Virginia Swim team. My long term aspiration is to become an architect. Swimming has been a passion of mine for many years, and I would like to extend my time in the pool with a college swim team. I switch club teams due to the Marietta Marlins being broke apart. I would like to see how far I can get in college swimming with possible a scholarship. I cheer on and support all of my teammates. I am know to always be there for my team as a leader and bring us together as a very proud team. I set small goals for myself that leads to my bigger goals in swimming. For academics, I have been taking college courses since I was in eighth grade at a local community college. I understand the responsibility to get work done on time in a very timely manor. I am dedicated to the sport and my academics greatly and also known for having a kind soul.
