Summer Link '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I’m Summer! I’ve been a recreational swimmer since I was three, and a competitive swimmer since I was eight-years-old. I want to swim for an academically reputable college (in the field of medicine specifically) so I can pursuit my dream of becoming a doctor or surgeon. As long as the school that might except me has a great medical or biology program I am willing to go anywhere or swim for anyone in the country. I want to swim in college because I love the sport and it has always been a part of my life, and I see it as a way to build a community during what will be a stressful time in my life. I am a good candidate for their team because I'm determined/driven, hard working, non-argumentative, and intelligent. It is hard for me to compare myself to people I do not know, but I have worked hard all my life to place myself in a good social, academics, and athletic position, and that will not waiver at the end of high school or in college. My character is demonstrated through my involvement in non-mandatory leadership and community service programs and clubs such as Interact Club, Student Council, and the Chic-Fil-A Leadership Academy. My academic prowess are demonstrates through my consistently high GPA in honors and AP classes. Obviously my athletic capabilities will ultimately speak for themselves, and the best teams and scholarships will awarded to the finest athletes, but I pray that you consider what I can bring to the table, athletically, academically, and morally.
