My name is Tia Jankovics, I was born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
I am attending my senior year of High School at Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute. I am looking to continue my education in Bio/Chemistry. I am a strong student, in search of a University that has a strong program in this field.
I started competitive swimming at age 5. Currently, I’m training with Royal City Aquatics, 9 times per week, including 7 swims and 2 drylands. My main events are 200m and 100m backstroke, but I’m a well rounded swimmer as my Individual Medley is on the rise.
My progression really took off this past season, and I competed at the Bell Canadian National Championships in Toronto this past August in 50m, 100m and 200m Backstroke. I also qualified for Canadian Junior Trials in 200LCM backstroke.
I have barely scratched the surface of my potential and my next goal is to join a team with lots of energy and a strong training program that will push me to be the best I can be. I am extremely hard working, disciplined, dedicated and I will be a great asset to a team.
