Personal Statement
Currently, as a high school junior, I am looking to find a college that is a great fit for me both academically and as an athlete. I am unsure of my major right now as I have diverse interests both in and out of the pool. I have been a dedicated swimmer for many years. I also played on a premier soccer club team until my freshman year, when I decided to concentrate full time on swimming. Off season, to stay in shape, I play lacrosse for my high school team. Athletics have instilled in me strong values of responsibility and teamwork. I have learned the time management skills needed to maintain academic success while successfully competing at a high level in swimming. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic and leadership skills to make an impact on your team.
