I began swimming in the winter of my sophomore year (2021/2022) at 16 years old and immediately fell in love with the sport. I swam that winter season, and then swam my junior winter season (2022/2023). I made districts both years in a relay, and in my junior season me and three teammates of mine broke 2 20+ year old relay records. I decided I wanted to swim in college soon after districts, so I joined the local YMCA team, the Pocono Piranhas. I trained all summer and I am excited to begin my senior season and improve the times I made in my junior school season. I know my times will continue to improve, especially with my year-round training. I like to think I am a fun personality and will definitely bring the energy wherever I go. As fun as I am, I am also a little bit of a nerd, as I am an almost all AP student with straight As and continue to make honor roll each semester. No matter what happens this season, I am excited for the journey and do it all for the love of the sport.
