Emily Smith '26 Recruiting Profile

I am dedicated to achieving my bachelor's in Political science and attending Law School. It would be a dream to swim on a team while in college; it gives my mind and body a space to unwind, doing something I love. I discovered the sport of swimming only the summer before my Freshman year of high school. However, I quickly picked everything up and found my strengths and weaknesses. I developed my skills effectively and efficiently, and caught up to my age level, so much so that I was accepted onto my high school's varsity swim team and I swam with them until I moved. Over my freshman year, I continued to drop time in my events and improve my technique. I love the sport and everything that comes with it. On an academic note, I continue to obtain at least a 4.0 GPA, even while taking all of the honors classes I have available to me at my current high school.
