2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Following my dreams to become a talented, smart, athlete has definitely been challenging. My name is Kira and I consider myself to be a determined person when it comes to achieving my goals. Swimming has never come easy to me, I always considered it challenging but I think that is what motivates me to be better. I love seeing results in and out of the pool and try to go beyond people's expectations, sometimes even my own. I am always prepared and ready for practice, school, etc, I love to be early. I look forward to practice and having fun with my teammates, even when practice can be rough. All in all, I look forward to seeing where my swimming and academics will lead me.
