D'Mornay Woollery '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is D'Mornay Woollery, and I am a junior this year. I learned how to swim at the age of 11. It started over vacation when my little sister and I were playing in the pool, and my mom thought it would be a good idea to get us both into swimming. I was never very fond of swimming, to tell you the truth. To be quite frank, I dreaded it for a while. However, that was until last swim season during the Central Pennsylvania League (CPL). I was working and working and working to break 30 seconds for my 50 free. That Friday night, I went from 30 seconds to 28.65. It was amazing. I didn't know what to do or feel or anything. When I improve significantly in things I do not usually enjoy, I strive to become even better than I was the day before. With NCSA, I feel that I can keep improving in college. I never thought I would be sitting here doing this, but here I am. I hope to find a college that will bring out the best in me and help me become a better person at home and in public, whether in sports or academics.
